Building Codes in Canada are now available in hard-copy or a digital version (PDF). The National Building Code can be found at the National Research Council page for Codes Canada Publications.

Provinces and Territories will adopt or modify the requirements laid out in the National Building Code (NBC) to create the version of code that they pass into law.
